Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data SterilePass collects and how it is used. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Without an account: your practice scores are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never leave your device.

With an account: your email address, login credentials, and study progress (answers, scores, readiness data), stored with our database provider (Supabase) so your progress syncs across devices.

When you buy: payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy — we never see or store your card number. We receive your email and purchase status to activate your access.

Newsletter: if you opt in, your email is stored with our email provider and every message includes an unsubscribe link.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party ad trackers on paid or account pages. We do not collect data from your employer or any certification body.

Data retention & deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@sterilepass.com. We will delete it within 30 days.

Sub-processors

Supabase (database & authentication), Paddle (payments, merchant of record), Cloudflare (hosting & CDN), and our email provider for the newsletter if you opt in.
